CYCLISTS are being urged to saddle up for the Dorset Downs Cycle Rides.

The event, organised by the Dorset ME Support Group on Sunday, August 10 will give riders the choice of two routes to take on, with both starting in Dorchester.

Cyclists will be able to enjoy either 100km or 150km of beautiful Dorset scenery to the west and north of the county town.

Entrants will be given a map to navigate their way along the route and the Dorset ME Support Group will be providing hot and cold drinks at the start and finish as well as baked potatoes, filled rolls and cakes at lunchtime.

Donations for the Dorset ME Support Group, which supports people with myalgic encephalopathy (ME) and chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), will be welcomed.
