SUMMER MADNESS: Sharky's is the place for a fun time

IF you have children and are looking to entertain them then Sharky’s on Custom House Quay in Weymouth is the place for you this summer.

With a huge four level soft play area with six exciting slides, including the deathslide, this is the perfect place for the bravest, most energetic children of ages five and above. Under-fives have the ground floor dedicated to them with more appropriate-sized slides.

The second floor is home to Hanger 51, an amazing Lazer Zone maze where over sevens can battle it out to prove that they are the best shooter.

If this still doesn’t sound like enough, the top floor of Sharky’s Play Zone is solely a six lane slotcar track. Petrol heads can get their fix racing Scalextric cars around a computer controlled track.

Parents can relax with cake and hot drinks at the cafe that overlooks Weymouth Harbour.

The Lazer Zone costs £3.50 per game and the racers get half an hour on the slotcar track for £4.95. The Play Zone costs £2.50 for under twos and £4.00 for all those aged above. Prior booking is required for all activities.

The centre is open from 9.30am to 5.30pm seven days a week.
