A31 partially blocked near Bere Regis
The A31 has now been reopened after a car crashed into a telegraph pole.
Police, ambulance and fire services were called to the accident which left a telegraph pole leaning into the carriageway.
The road was completely closed both ways for recovery between the B3075 (Mordens Hill) and The Street (Botany Bay Inne junction)
The car involved was a grey VW Touran and is registered at a Hampshire address but no injuries occured.
Police were contacted at 17.59 this evening.
The crash occured between the Little Chef and the World's End Inn.
