RESIDENTS and staff at a Weymouth care home celebrated its new look.
Friends and relatives of the residents at Care South’s Mount Pleasant were invited into the home last week to have a look at the refurbishment.
One of the home’s lounges recently underwent extensive renovation.
Operations Manager at Care South, Paul Gorsuch, visited the home for the opening ceremony, with Team Leader Annette Coombs, who has been at Mount Pleasant for 12 years, officially declaring the lounge open.
Home Manager at Mount Pleasant, Clare Baker, said: “We had a lovely afternoon celebrating the completion of refurbishment to the lounge. I’ve had a number of compliments from residents, their families and visitors to the home about the new lounge and dining room.
“At Care South it’s important to us that our residents and staff take pride in the home and enjoy their surroundings. The refurbished rooms look great and are a real asset for the home.”
