Children’s activities include; pony rides, face painting, skittles, darts and a coconut shy. Jazz band and dog show. Free.

A Guide To Everything Chesil, Dorset Wildlife Trust, Fine Foundation Chesil Beach Centre, Portland Beach Road, Portland. Classic Car Show, Donhead St Andrew Fete, Stoney Hills Field, Sans Lane, Donhead St Andrew, Shaftesbury. View a collection of classic cars, jeeps and motorbikes at the Donhead St Andrew Village Fete. Cars include Rolls Royce, Bentley, Cobra replica, Sunbeam, Morgan, Austin 6 and Bristol models. Enter the quiz and have yourself photographed with a car. Free entry, 2pm.

Portland Rocks Music and Art Summer School, IPACA Royal Manor Campus, Weston Road,Portland. Workshops for 8-16 year olds. Working on composition and performance skills, and producing art works using recycled materials. A short musical performance and viewing of artwork will take place on Friday 29 August, to which all family and friends are invited. Tuesday 26 August to Friday 29 August, 9am - 12pm.
