Major rail works ahead
Dorset rail passengers are warned major infrastructure improvements will be undertaken at London Waterloo by South West Trains to enable the introduction of a new fleet of trains which will run on lines around the capital and into Hampshire and Berkshire.
Track, signalling and electrical power improvements will also be carried out.
It is not planned to run any of the new trains on the Weymouth line.
