THE GREEN Valley Farm Shop in Godmanstone is urging people to try making a small change to their everyday shopping to make a big difference.

The store near Cerne Abbas is keen to promote the benefits of organic food for its taste and nutritional benefits.

It also claims that organic standards set much higher levels of animal welfare, and that organic farming is kinder to the environment and better for nature, supporting 50 per cent more wildlife and 30 per cent more species.

People are invited to visit the shop and sample their organic vegetables, wines, meat, dairy, dry goods and other products to see for themselves.

In addition, customers can enjoy organic cream teas in their cafe, with anyone quoting the Dorset Echo during September treated to a free cup of organic coffee or tea.
