Road partially blocked after car crashes into traffic lights at junction
DRIVERS faced delays after a car collided with a set of traffic lights at a junction in Dorchester.
The road at the junction of Prince of Wales Road and Culliford Road North was partially blocked on Wednesday evening at around 4.30pm.
The traffic lights were still reported to be functioning normally but an engineer was sent to the scene to investigate.
A spokeswoman for Dorset Police said no one was injured in the one-vehicle collision, which involved a Citroen car registered to a man from Dorchester.
A recovery vehicle was on the scene shortly after 5pm and the road was cleared just after 6pm.
