RESIDENTS are reminded to take part in a consultation amid a planned shake-up of electoral divisions for Dorset County Council.
The independent Local Government Boundary Commission for England is asking local people for their help to draw up a new pattern of DCC divisions.
The consultation is the first part of an electoral review which will re-draw division boundaries across the whole county.
The Commission is set to recommend that the council should have 46 county councillors in the future, one more than the current arrangements.
Local people have until December 1, 2014. to submit views.
Further information on the review and interactive maps of the existing boundaries can be found at consultation.lgbce.org.uk and lgbce.org.uk
