CONSERVATION volunteers are being sought as Dorset Wildlife Trust acquires another seven wildlife sites in East Dorset.
The trust is launching a new volunteering programme for its Great Heath Living Landscape sites, having raised £2million through partners and fundraising and secured £2.7m from the Heritage Lottery Fund to buy 1,435 acres of land from the Canford Estate.
This includes part of Upton Heath that it leases from the estate, and there are other sites at Ferndown Common, Corfe Mullen, Dunyeats Hill, Parley Common and in Poole Harbour, Holes Bay and part of Lytchett Bay.
