A LONG-SERVING district nurse has hung up her uniform after a 20-year career.
Jane James celebrated moving into semi-retirement with colleagues from the Dorset HealthCare University Foundation Trust, Dorchester’s Queens Avenue Surgery doctors and the district nursing team.
They all joined Jane and her husband Vaughn at a celebratory lunch at the Frederick Treves Health Centre to bid a big farewell to her.
Jane was presented with presents and flowers in recognition of her dedication and hard work in delivering excellent care to patients within their homes.
She has spent the last 18 years in Dorchester.
