THE BRIDE Valley Band will be performing Songs from the Valley in the Town Hall at Dorchester’s Corn Exchange on Sunday, October 19 from 3pm.
The special event, which will celebrate the Bride Valley in music and song, will raise funds for Poundbury-based charity Home-Start West Dorset.
The charity offers friendship, emotional and practical support to families.
The Bride Valley Band is an ensemble of seven musicians and singers who perform original songs interspersed with reflections on life in rural West Dorset.
They have performed across West Dorset and beyond, including at the Sidmouth Folk Festival.
The band has added new songs to its repertoire, which will be performed for the first time at the concert in Dorchester.
Tickets cost £6 including tea and cake. Call 01305 265072 or email office@homestartwestdorset.co.uk
