THE SEARCH is on for winners of cash prizes in Dorset.
National Savings and Investments (NS&I) says there are a number of people in Dorset yet to claim up to £1,000 they have won through premium bonds.
Across the UK over 928,000 Premium Bonds prizes worth over £41 million remain unclaimed including over 12,000 in Dorset worth more than £530,000.
Premium Bonds prize warrants can go undelivered and unclaimed as a result of changes in Premium Bonds holders’ addresses, or if bonds were bought for them as a child and they have subsequently lost track of them.
There are a number of people in the region due to receive £1,000 after failing to claim their prizes in previous draws.
Customers can use the free prize checker at nsandi.com and claim as far back as 1957.
NS&I is urging customers to keep address and contact details up to date so that winners are more easy to track down in the future.
