The 103rd birthday of Nellie McKinna
MARTINSTOWN resident Nellie McKinna celebrated her 103rd birthday with family, friends and staff at Park House Care.
Mrs McKinna, who was born in Manchester in 1911, worked for Fifty Shilling Tailors, who made men’s clothes, and later moved to North Wales after marrying her husband.
She came down to Dorset and moved into Park House in 2009.
Mrs McKinna marked her special day with a cake made by Christine, one of the kitchen assistants at the care home, and was visited by her son David and daughter-in-law Anne.
