A ROADSHOW is coming to Dorchester for those worried about dementia or who wish to know more about the condition.

The event will be at Dorchester Library and Learning Centre, Charles Street, Tuesday, February 3, 10am – 1pm.

The day has been organised by Dorset Library Service, and the aim is to raise awareness and understanding of the condition, which affects more than 13,700 people in Dorset.

Local organisations, including Alzheimer’s Society, will be on hand to offer information and advice to anyone with queries about the condition. A programme of activity sessions has also been organised, including dementia awareness classes.

People are also invited to join a session of seated dance, led by Activate performing arts. There is no need to book, just come and join in.
