ONE man was taken to hospital after a collision between a Land Rover and a HGV on the A35 near Chideock.
The incident happened at 8.55am yesterday morning on the westbound carriageway at Morcombelake, when the blue Land Rover defender, registered to a man from Bridport, collided with a the lorry.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, and one man was taken to Dorset County Hospital with a back injury although it is believed the injury is not serious, a spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service said.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said the road was westbound carriageway was blocked following the crash, and it was reopened at 11.08am.
