*BE spellbound by a one man production of De Profundis, Oscar Wilde’s searingly bitter, passionate letter to his lover, Lord Alfred Douglas, written from his cell in Reading Gaol.

Gerard Logan will perform the play at Dorchester Arts Centre tonight (6) from 7.30pm.

Logan will also perform The Ballad of Reading Gaol, a poem written by Oscar Wilde after his release from prison, narrating the execution of Charles Thomas Wooldridge, who was convicted of murdering his wife. Contact the arts centre for tickets.
