AMBULANCE and Coastguard services have been dealing with an incident in West Bay this afternoon after two teenagers got into difficulty in the water.

A spokesman for the South Western Ambulance Service said two teenagers got into trouble in the water earlier today.

She said that two crews attended and an officer attended.

One of the teenagers was taken to Dorset County Hospital while the other was treated at the scene.

A spokesman for the Coastguard said that they were alerted to reports of two people in difficulty out in the water with one female slipping in and out of consciousness. 

He said that the West Bay Coastguard Rescue team was tasked to attend and both of them received medical attention.
