A MOTORCYCLIST is in a serious condition in hospital after his bike collided with a sign on the Puddletown bypass.
The incident took place at 7.15pm yesterday evening, Sunday May 10.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “A single vehicle road traffic collision occurred at the roundabout joining the old Puddletown road with the Puddletown bypass known as Troy Town.
“A black Yahama motorcycle being ridden by 43-year-old man from Henley-On-Thames collided with a sign on the roundabout and the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries as a result.
“The man remains in Dorset County Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
“Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact Sean Todd of the Weymouth traffic department by calling Dorset Police on 101.”
