POLICE are appealing for witnesses after four people suffered injuries in a serious collision in North Dorset.
The collision took place on Thornford Road, Yetminster at 7.48pm on Thursday, June 4 and involved a cyclist and a silver Vauxhall Corsa, containing three people.
The car ended up on its roof with all three occupants of the car sustaining injuries.
The driver of the car, a 25 year-old from Farnborough, sustained head injuries whilst a 15 year-old-boy from Yeovil suffered a broken hand and a 19-year-old man sustained an injured collar bone.
The cyclist, a 55 year-old man from Sherborne, suffered injuries to his left arm and right leg.
Police Constable Andrea Watson, of Dorchester and Sherborne police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to please call me.
“I am particularly keen to hear from an elderly woman who spoke to the cyclist directly after the collision to offer help but unfortunately left before police arrived. I understand she may have witnessed the collision.”
