The free fair, to be held in South Street and Bucky Doo Square from 9am to 3pm, will involve a fun day of charity stalls, bands, dancers, skateboard ramps, food, face painting and various other attractions.

*FOLK band Show of Hands are hosting their annual family open air concert at Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens tomorrow from 3pm to 9pm.

The line-up includes the Keston Cobblers Club, Chris and Kellie White, Luke Jackson and Sunjay.

*MIX it up in Lyme Regis with the Big Mix Music Festival.

There will be non-stop entertainment from musicians in the resort from 1pm to 11pm.

The festival will have something for all the family, an eclectic mix of musical acts including latin, jazz, rock, rap, folk, and electronic.

*BARRISTER Susie Alegre will be talking about Human Rights in a Changing World at the Justice Cafe in Dorchester from 7.30pm.

*ARMED Forces Day commemorations take place in the Borough Gardens in Dorchester tomorrow with musical performances from 1.50pm.

At 1.25pm there will be a parade going from North Square to the gardens.

*SOAK up some spectacular gardens in Sandford Orcas, three miles north of Sherborne.

Gardens in the village will be open tomorrow and Sunday from 2pm to 6pm.

Admission is £6 per person and covers both days. There will be teas, plant sales, children's miniature garden competition. Start from the Village Hall Car Park.

*DISCOVER the gardens of Bindon Mill and Abbey for the first time.

On the banks of the River Frome, enjoy the wild and tended gardens of the privately owned Bindon Mill and Abbey in Wool.

Historic and beautiful, and carefully planted to provide colour throughout the seasons, the gardens, abbey ruins and buildings tell a story dating back to 1172.

The gardens will first open on Sunday from 11am to 4pm and will thereafter be open at the same times every day until July 26. Admission is £5 for adults and children go free.

*LISTEN to some live music on Sunday from 3pm to 8pm at the Clock Rocks in aid of The Clock Inn pub appeal.

Musicians, including Shelby's Elbow and Logan Carter, will be performing to help raise money for the Clock Inn in Chideock, which suffered a devastating fire.

Entry is £6 and parking is available at the Anchor Inn.
