PADDLE steamer Waverley is returning to Weymouth this month.
It will be taking passengers on excursions along the Dorset coast and beyond from Wednesday, September 9 to Wednesday, September 23.
Waverley is the the world's last sea-going paddle steamer and this year marks the 40th year that the ship has sailed in preservation.
Sold for £1, the vessel has been operated by a charity since 1975, and preserved as a heritage asset for the benefit of the communities around the UK.
Captain Andy O’Brian, Waverley’s captain, said: “Paddle Steamer Waverley offers the chance to view parts of our unique coastline from a different perspective."
