YOUNGSTERS had a road safety lesson from the experts when two Police Community Support Officers went to school in Puddletown.
Vickie Hedges and Rhyan Toms took a zebra crossing and traffic lights to Puddletown First School when they talked to children about staying safe when crossing the road.
PCSO Toms said: "All the children took part in being either pedestrians or cars.
"We were able to set up a zebra crossing and a pelican crossing and the children demonstrated they were able to cross the road safely.
"It was particularly important as Puddletown First School has a new zebra crossing outside the school."
She added: "We also stressed the importance of seatbelts and cycle helmets."
