BRIGHT-THINKING children from Radipole Primary School are switching to energy-efficient light bulbs.
The school held an energy-saving day that included a light bulb amnesty of all incandescent light bulbs.
Radipole Primary also invited Mike Petitdemange, Senior Energy Engineer from Dorset County Council, and Emily Bullock from the Dorset Energy Advice Centre to come in and talk to pupils.
Displays in the school hall compared the energy emissions of bulbs and showed how to save water at home.
The school has also set up an energy-saving team made up of Year 5 pupils and had assemblies to help raise awareness of environmental issues.
