ELVIS HAS LEFT THE POOL: Fire crews rescue two horses – one named after the King of Rock and Roll- from a swimming pool.
Firefighters were called at 8.46am this morning to a report of the two horses –one called Elvis, in a pool swimming pool at Factory Lane, Duntish near Sherborne.
Two Sherborne crews attended, along with the animal rescue team from Poole.
A vet was on scene and sedated the pair, so that fire fighters could safely remove them from the pool.
Neither animal was said to be ‘shook up’ by the experience and both horses were “recovering well” in a field when crews left.
