Armed officers and police helicopter carry out search after reports of man in camouflage carrying a shotgun
ARMED police and the police helicopter were called to reports of a man wearing camouflage carrying a shotgun.
Police were called at around 4pm yesterday (Monday) to reports of a man wearing camouflage sighted with a shotgun in the Bradford Abbas area near Sherborne.
Armed officers along with the police helicopter carried out an extensive search of the area.
No arrests have been made and following the extensive search and nothing untoward was found.
Police said that enquiries are ongoing to attempt to identify the male involved.
