Motorcyclist injured and road blocked after Shaftesbury crash
A MOTORCYCLIST has suffered 'potentially serious' injuries in a crash that has blocked a major Dorset road.
The A350 is closed in both directions at the Drones Lane junction Compton Abbas, due to a serious accident involving a car and a motorcycle.
Police and ambulance are on scene.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said the crash happened at 10.25am two-miles south of Shaftesbury on the north-bound carriageway.
She said: "The vehicles involved are a car and a black BMW motorbike, registered to a Dorchester company.
"The motorcyclist has suffered potentially serious injuries."
