The A35 is closed both ways at Bloxworth after a crash involving a car and a minibus.
Police were called to the crash at 9.31am.
It has taken place at the Bloxworth junction and the road is closed from Bere Regis and Morden Park Corner.
The minibus did have passengers on board, a spokesperson for Dorset Police confirmed.
A spokesperson for South West Ambulance said they are treating one female casualty who has a head injury.
They are still on the scene.
