A CHURCH has turned into a winter wonderland for a village’s first Christmas Tree Festival.
Holy Trinity Church in West Lulworth is playing host to the festival until January 3.
Trees of all shapes and sizes are currently filling the church, from traditional pine trees to a very special 12 Days of Christmas tree featuring knitted figures.
Local groups and businesses have each sponsored a tree and decorated it in a way that reflects the very nature of what they do.
The event is being held to raise money for Weldmar Hospicecare Trust.
The festival will continue until January 3 and the church will be open from 9.30am until 4pm, and there will also be some evening openings for services.
