A CAR has been left hanging over the edge of a bridge following a two vehicle crash on the Puddletown bypass.
The incident happened at around 3pm between the A354 Puddletown and Cuckloo Lane Bockhampton.
The A35 was partially blocked westbound between Puddletown and the Troy Town turn off but is now clear.
The vehicles involved include a silver Ford Fiesta registered to a woman from Glastonbury and a black Jeep registered to a man from Dorchester.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "There was a collision between the two of these and it looks as though the Ford Fiesta has gone into a crash barrier."
A woman has been taken to hospital but her injuries are not thought to be serious.
Firefighters from Weymouth and Dorchester also attended the scene, ensuring the vehicles were secure and safe.
