A DATE has been set for the reopening of a road closed by a 30 tonne landslip.
The C13, Dinah’s Hollow near Melbury Abbas was closed after heavy rain caused the huge landslip on the night of Tuesday, March 8.
Following the slip, Dorset County Council commissioned a geological survey into the unstable slopes that caused the major landslip. They also installed concrete barriers along the road, which was closed for over a year from 2014 to 2015 due to the unstable slopes.
Engineers have now said that the route is currently expected to reopen on the week commencing April 11.
