A35 blocked after collision
Traffic is queuing on the A35 after a collision.
Two vehicles were involved in a crash on the A35 eastbound between Affpuddle and the Shell roundabout at around 5.20pm.
One person has been taken to hospital as a precaution.
Police, ambulance and fire services were called to the scene.
The road remained partially blocked whilst debris was cleared from the road.
A driver who was not involved in the collision said it happened shortly after very heavy rain.
He said the whole area 'just turned white' because the downpour was so heavy.
The road has since reopened.
