DRIVERS have been warned to take care on the roads following reports of ice.
PC Chris Smith, of Dorset Police, has suggested 'some ice' has appeared across the county and there have been reports of crashes.

The Highway Code provides advice on how to drive in icy conditions.
This includes driving with care, keeping well back from the road user in front, and being prepared for the road conditions to change over relatively short distances.
When the roads are icy, drivers should also avoid sudden actions as these could cause loss of control.
Drivers are recommended to drive at a slow speed in as high a gear as possible, accelerating and braking very gently.
The Code also says that drivers should particularly slow on bends where loss of control is more likely.
Drivers should check their grip on the road surface when there is ice by choosing a safe place to brake gently.
Dorset County Council has confirmed its gritters will be treating priority routes across the county at 9pm this evening.
