A WOMAN was rescued by a team of police, coastguard and lifeboat service after being cut off by the tide.
Swanage and St Alabans coastguards were called out to Studland at 10pm last night to help police find a missing woman.
This search team was joined by the Swanaged RNLI Lifeboats and a sweep of the tops and bottoms of the cliffs towards Old Harry Rocks began.
After 20 minutes, the RNLI crew spotted a woman shouting for help at the base of the cliff.
The crew picked up the woman, who had been cut off by the tide, and took her by boat to North Haven Steps where an ambulance was waiting.
