HAVE your say on possible changes to Dorset County Hospital services.
Tonight there will be a meeting at Brewery Hall, Ansty, near Dorchester from 6.30pm where people can put their questions to NHS Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group.
The event will take place as part of a meeting of Hilton Parish Council.
A member of the CCG will be giving a presentation and answering questions on proposed changes to: urgent and emergency care, planned and specialist care, maternity and paediatric services and services for people with long term conditions and the frail elderly.
Justine McGuinness, Chairman of the parish council said: “Before the changes are decided, our Parish Council wanted people to have an opportunity to tell the CCG what they think. The group’s own meetings have been all in urban areas, so this is a chance for them to hear rural voices.
“I believe that we are the only rural community in Dorset to take this initiative, which shows the level of concern locally about possible changes to services at our local hospital in Dorchester.”
