Coastguard assists TS Pelican crew member suspected of having appendicitis
COASTGUARD officers were called to assist a TS Pelican crew member who fell ill.
Wyke Coastguard CRT attended Weymouth Harbour this afternoon.
They were alerted that one of TS Pelican's crew had fallen ill with suspected appendicitis whilst on passage to Weymouth from Swanage.
The casualty walked to an awaiting ambulance and was transferred to Dorset County Hospital.
