A MAN has appeared in court charged with the murder of Adam Bent.
Adam Bent, 31, was originally from Weymouth and died in Leicester as the result of a stab wound on Saturday, July 16.
Cameron Fields, of Gresley Close, Leicester has been charged with murder and appeared before Leicester Magistrates Court earlier today.
A 16-year-old youth has also been charged with assisting an offender and was due to appear at Leicester Youth Court today.
A man and a teenage girl, who were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
The charges relate to an incident in Braunstone Gate in Leicester during the early hours of Saturday 16 July which resulted in the death of 31-year-old Adam.
