The incident involved a van and two cars close to the Baker's Arms Roundabout, Lytchett Minster, earlier this morning.
Police said the road was partially blocked between the A35 Organford and the B3075 Chitten Hill junction after a crash.

The vehicles involved were a blue Audi A3 registered to a Dorchester man, a grey Nissan Qashqui registered to a Berkshire company and a white Renault van registered to a Devon company."
He added: "One person was arrested on suspicion of driving offences - a 48-year-old man from Dorchester, who is helping officers with their enquiries."
