A WEYMOUTH photographer is hoping her pictures will inspire others to get behind the camera this new year.
Chris Eaves is a member of Weymouth Camera Club and is on the look out for new members.
The club meets on Tuesday evenings at Weymouth Centenary Club from 7.30pm. The programme is varied and aims to ensure there is something for everyone who has an interest in photography.
Chris’ photo ‘Storm Approaching’ pictured above was taken on on Weymouth seafront at Greenhill.
She said: “A downpour was all too obviously approaching but I thought I would wait for the light and conditions to be just right. I got absolutely soaked a few minutes later but it was worthwhile and this image won second prize in one of Weymouth Camera Club’s competitions.”
More of her photos can be seen at dorsetecho.co.uk
Expensive equipment or vast experience is not necessary for photographers to join the club.
