RESIDENTS concerned about the future of the NHS are invited to a public meeting in Weymouth tomorrow.
A lively debate is promised as a discussion is held about defending and protecting the NHS from privatisation.
Retired physicist and Weymouth resident Brian Hemsley is passionate about protecting the NHS from cuts and privatisation and has organised Thursday evening’s meeting. He is inviting everyone to attend and ‘do their bit’.
Mr Hemsley has used his own funds to hire the 400-seat Pavilion Ocean Room and print off hundreds of protest letters which he hopes people will send to their MP asking them to act.
He said the meeting and his letter-writing effort is non-political and involves everyone concerned about the state of the NHS which he says if being ‘starved’ of crucial funds.
The NHS Disbands? meeting is at Weymouth Pavilion Ocean Room tomorrow (Thursday) at 7.30pm.
Free entry and all welcome.
