SUNNY weather helped make the best of the Radipole and Southill Hoticultural Society spring show.

The event was held at the Southill Community Centre, and organisers said entries were up 40 per cent compared to last year.

Show secretary Heather Smith said: “It was very pleasing to see our society members old and new contribute to making the show such a success with their many and varied entries. The day itself went very smoothly thanks to an enthusiastic team of helpers and we are now looking forward to a fine gardening summer season.”
