THREE new music videos will be screened for the first time at this week's From Page to Screen Film Festival.
They have been made by local secondary school students using songs from the B Sharp youth music group.
One of the video workshop organisers Ines Cavill said: "It was great to help produce short films made by local young people using other young people's music - it's such a special feature of B Sharp that its music groups don't play the usual covers of well-known songs but create their own original work and this inspired some really imaginative filmmaking ideas."
The music videos will be shown first at Bridport Youth Centre on Saturday (22) as part of a new 'fringe' event for the festival, 'Music Loves Film'. Entry is just £1 to see Grease (PG) at 5pm with 8 Mile showing at 8pm for those aged 15 and above.
Between the films there will be an American-themed cafe and the music videos' premiere.
The new videos will also have a free screening the next day, Sunday 23, at 1pm at the Bridport Arts Centre as part of the closing day of the From Page to Screen Film Festival.
