A WOMAN was cut from a car after a crash on the A31 at Stag Gate.
Eyewitnesses said that two cars were involved, with 'quite a lot of damage' caused to the front of the vehicle.
Police were called to the scene by the ambulance service at 8.25am.
A spokesman said: "The location is given as the junction with the B3075 near Stag Gate on the A31."
Road closures were put in place east-bound at the junction of the B3057 at Spetisbury and west-bound, diversions were put in place at the Round House roundabout. Officers also be closed the A350.
Dorset Police said the driver of the mini was taken out of the vehicle by the fire service. Officers added the injuries were 'not life-threatening.'
Recovery was arranged for both vehicles.
Two fire crews were at the scene and cut one woman from a car.
