It's been a busy Sunday for Weymouth lifeboat crews.
Weymouth RNLI's all-weather lifeboat diverted from a training exercise in Kimmeridge to free a yacht after rope became wrapped around its propeller.
The lifeboat assisted and towed the vessel to Portland Marina.
The inshore lifeboat was paged shortly before 3pm to reports of a swimmer in difficulty at St Oswald's Bay.
Once crews arrived at the scene to carry out a search, reports came in that the person had been located by coastguards safely on the beach.
The inshore lifeboat was then freed to return to station arriving at about 4pm.
