A woman has escaped with minor injuries after a crash on the B3082 near Badbury Rings.
Police were called to the scene of the two-car crash on Blandford Road at Shapwick around 8.43am.
The road was closed while the roof of one of the cars was removed.
Fire crews were called along with paramedics.
The vehicles involved are a black Smart car and a red Volkswagen Polo, both registered to drivers from Blandford.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said one woman was treated for slight injuries.
Recovery was requested for the vehicles.
The road was open at 10.44am.
