Motorists are being severely disrupted by flooding on the roads.
There is heavy traffic on the A35 at Monkey's Jump Roundabout near Dorchester and at the Baker's Arms Roundabout near Lychett Minster due to flooding on both sides of the road.
The first flood is also affecting traffic on the B3150 and the A37 and the second flood is also affecting traffic on the A351 and the B3067 in the area.
Drivers have been urged to take care on the roads becasue of heavy rain.
A Dorset County Council spokesman said: “We are responding to calls about flooding across our road network as a result of continuous heavy rain.
“We would advise motorists to drive with extra care, especially around surface water flooding.
