Motorists faced more disruption on the roads due to traffic light failures on two main roads in Weymouth and Dorchester
Traffic lights were not working on Abbotsbury Road at the Newstead Road junction in Weymouth, and on Trinity Street at the High West Street junction in Dorchester, following a mass power outage in Dorset earlier today.
Travel Dorset confirmed that the local electricity supply to the junctions failed to return after the earlier mass outage, and an engineer was called to reset them.
Drivers were advised to approach the junctions with care.
The traffic lights have since regained power and are working as normal.
