A woman who has breached the conditions of her licence is being sought by officers.

Rebecca Mary Lings, 28, was released from prison on Friday, August 25 2017 after serving a prison sentence for possession of an offensive weapon and theft.

She has since breached the terms of her licence and a recall notice was issued on Friday, August 31 2017.

Lings, who is described as white, of slim build and with blonde hair, is known to frequent the Bridport, Weymouth and Dorchester areas.

Detective Sergeant Paul Auger, of Dorset Police, said: “Enquiries are underway to find Lings and I am issuing this appeal in the hope that someone may know where she is.

“While we have no information to suggest that she presents a direct risk to members of the public, I would urge anyone who sees Rebecca Lings not to approach her but to immediately contact Dorset Police on 999.”
