An investigation is underway following reports of what police have described as a "road safety incident" in Weymouth.
Officers from Dorset Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward as they investigate an allegation of poor driving at a pedestrian crossing on Boot Hill.
The incident, involving a white Ford Focus, took place at the crossing near the old fire station, known as Harbour Lights Court, at around 1pm on Saturday, October 14.
Police have confirmed that no one was injured in the incident but said they are unable to release more information at this time.
Police Sergeant Craig Tatton, of the traffic unit, said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed an incident at the pedestrian crossing at the relevant time to please contact Dorset Police.”
