A men-only walk will be returning to the county town next year.

Weldmar Hospicecare's Men's Rugby Walk was first held in March this was and was an overwhelming success.

Starting at Dorchester Rugby Club, walking will tackle a six-and-a-half mile route along the relief road to Weymouth where they will enjoy a delicious pasty, a well-earned pint and watch the Six Nations games on the big screen at Weymouth and Portland Rugby Club – kindly sponsored by The Self Storage Company.

A total of 46 men took part in the walk earlier this year raising vital funds for the charity.

This year Weldmar is hoping to see even more people take part.

Registration includes the cost of administering your place plus an official event t-shirt, a delicious pasty, a celebratory pint (soft drinks available) and watching the Six Nations live on the big screen.

The walk is open to all men aged 12 years and over.

The event will take place on Saturday, March 17, starting at 11am.

Those who register before the end of January 2018 will get the early bird price of £16 per person.

Tickets will cost £18 per person after January 31 2018.
